Difference between the HKS Hipermax Max IV GT and the Max IV GT 20 Spec
The brand new HKS Hipermax Max IV GT 20 Spec suspension system is based on the existing Max IV GT suspension system and is updated with the latest technologies with improved handling, body-roll stability, straight-line stability, turning stability, flat feeling and ride comfort! It is the ultimate suspension system for street use!

What’s new?
– Preload Valve System (PVS): Multiple valve shims of different size and thickness are stacked around the piston which generates a resistance which becomes dampening force. PVS applies a preload to the valve shims allowing a more accurate control of dampening especially at slower piston speeds.
– Inverted Single Tube: The inverted single tube has a big diameter to improve rigidity significantly and provides a more direct steering feel.
– Spring Insulator: A rubber seat on the top and bottom of the spring helps to improve spring movement while preventing sound and reducing friction during spring expansion.
